Skopje [ˈskɔpjɛ] is a compact dual-programmable CV quantizer capable of handling exotic and microtonal scales. It includes a microSD card slot for loading custom quantization scales prepared on a computer, accessible via the module’s OLED display. Its two channels can operate independently with completely different scales and settings. Selecting scales and key changes can be done using CV or trigger signals, enabling the sequencing of entire musical pieces. Skopje supports various tuning systems and description formats, including SCALA files. With calibrated high-resolution converters, it handles a wide range of positive and negative voltages, and even provides a calibration procedure to correct tuning inaccuracies in your oscillators and filters. Although the interface includes a display and rotary encoder, all parameters are immediately accessible from a single screen page, with no menu diving.
