The CPM DF-8 Dynamic Analog Multi-filter merges the silky precision of the classic 2045 Lowpass filter with the raw power of Stylophone’s GEN R-8 filter, creating a standalone effects machine that’s both elegant and ferocious.

With two channels and eight filter types—including Lowpass, Bandpass, Highpass, Notch, and three hybrid modes (Bandpass +, Notch+, Bandstop +) the DF-8 delivers an expansive tonal range, from smooth sweeps to snarling distortion.

Description

STYLOPHONE CPM DF-8 DYNAMIC ANALOG MULTI-FILTER – THE BEAUTY & THE BEAST OF FILTERS

The CPM DF-8 Analog Dynamic Multi-filter is the next in our Pro Audio range. Dubbed “Beauty and the Beast,” This unique filter box combines the precision of a smooth analog recreation of the classic 2045 Lowpass filter with the bold, dynamic character of Stylophone’s proprietary GEN R-8 filter.

The DF-8 is much more than a dual filter box. It’s a sound design tool, equipped with two white noise sources, a sample-and-hold modulation source with adjustable slew, and a crunchy PT2399 delay with modulation. It serves as a versatile sound source capable of everything from subtle atmospheres to all-out sonic chaos.

Like all CPM units, the CPM DF-8 is designed for portability and flexibility. Stylophones’ unique enclosure design with side ribs allows multiple CPM units to be locked together, for stability like a large modular, and for easy insertion into a Eurorack desk.
