Trance and progressive underground sounds were exploding in popularity, and producers yearned for a powerful, aggressive synthesizer sound that would cut through crowded mixdowns.That’s when the original JP-8000 made its debut - introducing a brand-new oscillator mode called the supersaw, which stacked multiple sawtooth waves for enormous, shimmering leads and pads.
