Plug in any dynamic, condenser or ribbon mic, add phantom power as needed, and use the gain and pad controls to find the sweet spot.
Send it
Run a lead to your pedals like you normally would with any guitar or bass and start experimenting. Play with the mic gain to creatively drive your pedals or open up headroom you didn't know they had.
Capture your way
Send the pedal audio to your preferred destination (DI, interface, amp) and use the untouched "mic thru" audio for blending wet and dry channels in the mix or live on stage.

We designed the MP-10's preamp from the ground up specifically for running mics through pedals.
With an exceptionally high gain range (12-60dB) and maximum headroom, it delivers completely transparent amplification—no coloration, no character, just clean signal that lets your pedals do what they do best. We purposefully built it this way because your pedals are where the magic happens. The MP-10 gets your mic signal to the right level and impedance, then gets out of the way.
That huge gain range also unlocks creative possibilities: push the gain to drive your pedals harder and discover new textures, or dial it back to open up headroom you didn't know your effects had.
